Installation InstructionsNotes:

Manual InstallThis section assumes to use Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer.Downloading file

Click once on the underlined file name. Once Lenovo ThinkPad L512 Notebook Lenovo Docking Detection for Windows 7, Vista, XP is done, some pop-up windows will appear.

Follow the instructions on the screen.

In the window to choose Run or Save, click the Save button.

Choose the folder you would like to Download the file to and click the Save button. A different window will appear and the Download will begin and complete. Once the download has completed, there may or may not be a message stating that the download completed successfully.

Extracting file

Make sure to be logged on with administrative privileges.

Determining which Version is InstalledWindows 7

Click Start, then click Control Panel.

Make sure View by Category is selected, and click Uninstall a program.

Click Organize, select Layout, then select Details Pane. The Details Pane will be shown at the bottom of screen.

Select Lenovo Docking Detection.

Check the product version in the Details Pane.

windows vista

Click Start, then click Control Panel.

Click Uninstall a program.

Right-click the Name tab, then click More.

Click Version, then click OK.

Check the Version value of Lenovo Docking Detection.

Windows XP

Click Start, then click Control Panel.

Click Add or Remove Programs.

Right-click the Name tab, then click More.

Click Lenovo Docking Detection, and then click Click here for support information.

Check the value of Version.
