- If you use windows vista, before applying this BIOS into the system, you should install Windows Vista KB 937500. The information of KB937500 is located in the following Microsofts site.
To verify if KB937500 is installed properly, - Click Start, then click Control Panel.
- Find Programs and Features and click. If this option does not exist on the window, choose Classic View to find Lenovo ThinkPad T410 Notebook BIOS update utility for Windows 7.
- On Tasks panel, click on View installed updates.
- Verify that KB937500 is included in the list of installed updates.
Updating the BIOSNotes:
- If your Computer runs satisfactorily now, Lenovo ThinkPad T410 Notebook BIOS update utility for Windows 7 may not be necessary to update the BIOS. To determine if you should update the BIOS, refer to the Determining Which Version is Installed section.
- You need an AC adapter and a charged battery pack.
- Remove the power-on password prior to updating the BIOS in the RDM (Remote Deployment Manager) or similar environment.

Click once on the underlined file name. Once Lenovo ThinkPad T410 Notebook BIOS update utility for Windows 7 is done, some pop-up windows will appear. Follow the instructions on the screen. In the window to choose Run or Save, click the Save button. Choose the folder you would like to Download the file to and click the Save button.
A different window will appear and the Download will begin and complete. Once the download has completed, there may or may not be a message stating that the download completed successfully. Extracting file

After the update has been completed, the program shows a message Flash Update has been successfully completed.... Follow the instructions on the screen to restart the computer. Lenovo ThinkPad T410 Notebook BIOS update utility for Windows 7 is intended for system administrators only. The BIOS is updated without any user interaction.
Refer to the Manual Update section, and download and extract the file. In the step 12 of the Installing files section, uncheck the checkbox next to Install ..... now, and then click Finish to cancel installation. At the command line, execute WINUPTP.EXE with the -s option.
