To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section.This section assumes to use Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer.Downloading file

Click once on the underlined file name. Once Lenovo ThinkPad T410 Notebook Contactless SmartCard Reader Driver for Windows 7 (32-bit) is done, some pop-up windows will appear.

Follow the instructions on the screen.

In the window to choose Run or Save, click Save.

Choose the folder you would like to Download the file to and click Save. A different window will appear and the Download will begin and complete. Once the download has completed, there may or may not be a message stating that the download completed successfully.

Extracting file

Make sure to be logged on with an administrator account.

Start Windows and logon with an administrator account.

Click Start, then click Control Panel.

Make sure View by Category is selected, and click Uninstall a program.

Select TN33 PCSC Driver Stack 1.0 and click Uninstall or Uninstall/Change.

Follow the instructions on the screen to complete uninstallation and restart the computer.

Determining which version is installedTN33_NFC based PCSC Contactless SmartCard Reader Driver

Click Start.

Right-click Computer, and then click Properties.

At the left pane, click Device Manager.

Double-click the Smart CARD READERS category.

Double-click TN33_NFC based PCSC SmartCard Reader.

Click the Driver tab.

Check Driver Version.

TN33_NFC USB Driver

Click Start.

Right-click Computer, and then click Properties.

At the left pane, click Device Manager.

Double-click the Universal Serial Bus controllers category.

Double-click TN33_NFC.

Click the Driver tab.

Check Driver Version.

LimitationsDuring installation, a Device Driver was not successfully installed message will appear.Cause: Because the Operating System finished searching for available Drivers before installation of this software was completed.Solution: Installation of this software will be completed successfully even though the message appears.
