ThinkVantage Communications Utility is a assistant program for Video and voice over the Internet (Video and Voice over IP) Software. Lenovo ThinkPad T410 Notebook ThinkVantage Communications Utility for Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit), Vista (32-bit, 64-bit), XP enables you to change all settings for the integrated CAMERA, MIC and AUDIO functions.
Provided functions:
- Integrated CAMERA settings (*1)
- AUDIO settings (*1)
- MIC mute button settings (*1)
- Video mute function from the integrated camera (only for some models)
- The function to reduce the typing SOUND during voice chat (only for some models and windows 7) (*1)

To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section.

Click once on the underlined file name with the left {3800} button. Once Lenovo ThinkPad T410 Notebook ThinkVantage Communications Utility for Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit), Vista (32-bit, 64-bit), XP is done, a pop-up window will appear. In this pop-up window, choose (using the left {3800} button) the directory you would like to Download the file to and click the Save button. A different window will appear and the Download will begin and complete without your assistance. Once the download has completed, there may or may not be a message stating that the download completed successfully. After being downloaded, the file will need to be extracted. Extracting file
Make sure to be logged on with administrative privileges. Locate the directory where the file was downloaded. Locate the file that was downloaded and double-click it. Follow the instructions on the screen. In the Select Destination Location window, click Next. If you would like to select a different folder, click Browse. In the Ready to Install window, click Install. All the necessary files will be extracted to the folder selected in the step 9. Installing files
Make sure the checkbox next to Install ..... now is checked and click Finish. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete installation and restart the Computer. Finally delete the file saved in Step 4.Unattended InstallNote: This procedure is intended for

Refer to the Manual Install section, and download and extract the file. In the step 11 of the Installing files section, uncheck the checkbox next to Install ..... now, and then click Finish to cancel installation. At the command line, execute setup.exe with the /VERYSILENT option.
