Download ThinkVantage System Update 3.14Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1 with Service pack 1 or Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 is required for System Update to work Correctly. Use Microsoft Windows Update to ensure that Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 or 2.0 is installed on your system.
Downloading the package

Click the file links to download the files from the Web page.

When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded files.

Installing the packageUninstall any previous versions of ThinkVantage System Update or IBM Update Connector that are installed on your system. After you have uninstalled any previous versions do one of the following:
Under Windows 7

Click Start, then click Start Search.

Type systemupdate40-2009-10-19.exe in the search field, then click Search Everywhere. Lenovo ThinkPad T410 Notebook ThinkVantage System Update 4.0 for Windows 7 will locate the file you just downloaded.

Double-click the systemupdate40-2009-10-19.exe icon. You may see a dialog stating A program needs your permission to continue. If you see this dialog, click Continue.

Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

ThinkVantage System Update will start automatically after installation is complete.
