• During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no Other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all Other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• Sony VGN-CS118E Notebook SmartWi™ Connection Utility for Windows Vista Home Premium is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

Download and Installation Instructions

To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.

Download the SOAOTH-00170630-US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).

Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOAOTH-00170630-US.EXE file to begin the installation.

At the User Account Control screen, click Continue.

At the SmartWi Connection Utility For None Wireless WAN US models screen, click Next.

At the License Agreement dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click I Agree to continue with the installation.

At the Finished screen click Finish.

When prompted, click OK to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the SmartWi™ Connection Utility is complete.

2. Find VGN-CS118E model drivers
3. Select Sony VGN-CS118E Notebook SmartWi™ Connection Utility for your Windows Vista Home Premium

4. Download and Install Sony VGN-CS118E Notebook SmartWi™ Connection Utility for Windows Vista Home Premium
5. Reboot to finish Sony VGN-CS118E Notebook SmartWi™ Connection Utility installation.
