How to uninstall the current version of the VAIO Control Center

Click the Start icon, and then click Computer.

On the menu bar, click Uninstall or change a program.

At the Uninstall or change a program screen, double-click Application Manager for VAIO.
Note: If the Application Manager for VAIO is not listed, right-click VAIO Control Center, and click Uninstall, and then continue to step 6.

At the User Account Control screen, click Continue.

At the Application Manager for VAIO screen, select VAIO Control Center and click the Uninstall button.

If the User Account Control screen appears, click Continue.

At the Confirm uninstall dialog, click OK to uninstall the existing version.

At the InstallShield Wizard Complete screen, select Yes, I want to restart this computer now and then click Finish.

Download and Installation Instructions

To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.

Download the SOAVCC-00185661-US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).

Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOAVCC-00185661-US.EXE file to begin the installation.

At the User Account Control screen, click Continue.

At the VAIO Control Center Update screen, click Next.

At the License Agreement dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click I Agree to continue with the installation.

At the Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard screen, click Next to install the updated version.

At the InstallShield Wizard Complete screen, select Yes, I want to restart MY computer now, and then click Finish.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the VAIO Control Center Update is complete.

4. Download and Install Sony VGN-P530H/Q Mini Notebook VAIO® Control Center Update for Windows Vista
5. Reboot to finish Sony VGN-P530H/Q Mini Notebook VAIO® Control Center Update installation.
