Ensure the wireless switch on the Computer is set to the ON position to enable the Bluetooth hardware.

Launch the SmartWi™ application by double-clicking the SmartWi Connection Utility icon on the taskbar.

At the SmartWi Connection Utility screen, under the Bluetooth section, ensure the Bluetooth option is set to ON.

Download and Installation Instructions

Download the BRFOTH-00225490-1040.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note Sony VPCB11HGX Notebook Broadcom® Bluetooth® Firmware Update for Windows 7 64-bit directory for reference).

At the User Account Control screen, click Yes.

At the License Agreement dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click I accept the terms in the license agreement, then click Next

At the Ready to Start the DFU screen, read the caution information, then click Start.

At the Bluetooth DFU Wizard completed screen, click Finish.

At the Finish screen, click Finish.

Click the Start icon, and then type Device Manager in the search box.

Click Device Manager to open the application.

In the Device Manager window, double-click the Bluetooth Radios icon.

Under the Bluetooth Radios category, double-click {3935}-T77H114-BCM2070.

At the {3935}-T77H114-BCM2070 Properties screen, click the Details tab.

On the Details tab, under Property, click the drop-down arrow and select Hardware Ids.

Under Value, confirm that USBVID_0489&PID_E00F&REV_0596 is listed.

To close the window, click the X in the upper-right corner.
